Bio Name: Florian Fandom: Tales of the Abyss Gender: Male Age: 14 physically [two chronologically] Time Period: Shortly after the end of the game Wing Color: Emerald Green Personality: Sweet and innocent, Florian has been given the perfect name. He tends to be childish, exploring a side of him that he couldn't while hidden away until the day he could possibly be forced to read a fonstone which would force him to give up his life. He's sincere, and rarely shows anger or hate, as he tends to brush these things off in favor of focusing on that perpetually bright side of things. He rarely acts his age, enjoying games like hide and seek and tag, but will when it comes to the serious matters that he faces when dealing with the Order of Lorelei, and the fanatics who insist that the score is the only thing that keeps them going. Florian does have plenty of dark memories, though. He's watched many of his brothers die at the hands of his creators, and has been kept alive for the soul purpose of reading the score if the replacement for the original happens to fail. For some strange reason, he has managed to keep his sanity and remain pure, though he's easily frightened and tends to cling to Anise. He hates being far from familiar places, though seems to be forever wandering away from them. He enjoys music and beauty, gardens and other pleasant things that he couldn't enjoy while trapped. Strengths: Physical >> Florian has proven to have much more endurance than his predecessor. After reading the score and, unfortunately, giving the answer that Grand Maestro Mohs didn't want to hear, he did not simply fade away. It is unknown what the extent of his powers are, but as he's currently in an environment where they'd most likely be inaccessible anyways, it's doubtful that it would matter. mental >> He's already shown to be able to easily overcome trauma {after watching all his brothers being tossed into a volcano and being kept by a madman to be used as a translator for the score, most people would be pretty damn traumatized}. Florian can take the good from the bad no matter what the situation, and although quite fearful, seems to be able to easily establish a new environment no matter where he lands. emotional; Set in the mind of a child, Florian is capable of remaining sunny-side up no matter what's set before him. He faces everything with a smile and looks for the simply clarity in things, and loves to meet new people. He seems to easily connect with others. Weaknesses: Physical >> Florian's not such a good fighter. He can use Daathic Fonic Artes, but it wears him out just as much as it did his predecessor - it can be assumed that he has greater stamina, but weaker power as he collapsed and was deemed an inferior specimen by Mohs. He's not so strong physically, as he's probably been locked up for some time and unable to fight since his creation. mental >> As stated before, Florian is in the mindset of a child. He's very young and cannot take things seriously, and seems to be easily frightened without a strong hand to guide him. He's just a little boy who has been shoved into the daunting task of guiding a new world until a better Fon Master can be trained. emotional; As stated before, he's easily fearful and tends to cling to whoever is closest. He's very, very, very naive and could easily be tricked into doing something bad because he's trusted the wrong people. History: {{ D8 It is like impossible to find any information on Florian, so I've only taken on one what little is actually told about him.}} We all know the story. The real Fon Master Ion was afflicted with a deadly illness, which he, unfortunately for many, foresaw while reading the Score one day. As an act of defiance against this score, he and Van used the art of replication and made several replicas. We know that Sync escaped from the fires and was made a God General, and we know that the Seventh replica went and became the new Fon Master... But where does Florian fall into all of this? No one can say for sure. All that is known is that he was saved from the volcano and kept in storage to read the score when the time came. He was kept isolated from the outside world until he was needed, with only Mohs and the occasional caretaker for company, and was forced to watch the world pass by him. And when that day did come - a truly dark, sad day when his predecessor was officially pronounced dead and Mohs had to set his plan to have the score read into action, he told a fate which the Maestro didn't care for and was almost tossed aside. But he was saved by our ragtag group of heroes and brought to live in Daath, taking over Ion's role until someone more suitable was available, training Anise for this position so she could become the first female Fon Master. |
